Below is a sampling of our yaks for sale. So, if you see a yak you like, please contact us. We may have similar yaks that are not listed below.
Starter Herds
Percy Starter Herd (Sold)
This $7700 young starter herd also offers good size and good fiber. Percy is a large royal 3-year-old bull who has been in service for us. He likes people and almost always comes over for a visit. He is easy to manage. Percy's mother won several ribbons at National Western Stock Show and Percy's father has produced a number blue ribbon winners.
Bea is a great looking super woolly daughter of our bull Yoda. Freya has never been shown, but she is the full sister to several award winners. Vera is a beautiful woolly imperial who had her first calf late in 2020. We shortened our breeding season and Vera didn't have a chance to get pregnant. Bea and Freya are not currently pregnant either, we decided to not expose any of our 2-year-olds last summer.
These girls are easy to work with.
Vlad Starter Herd (Sold)
This $7700 starter herd offers good size and good fiber. Vlad is a large royal 3-year-old bull who was in service for us last year. He is friendly and easily managed.
Amelie is the daughter of a former grand champion female. Super Woolly Bea is the daughter of our lead bull Yoda. The girls are also mild mannered and people friendly. Suzie was shown in the pen show at the National Western Stock Show as a yearling and won a third-place ribbon against tough competition.
Amelie and Bea were not exposed during the summer of 2020, we decided to make them wait another year. Suzie had twins late in the season and didn’t have a chance to get pregnant again during our shortened 2020 breeding season.
Yearling Starter Herd
This yearling starter herd offers a lot for a low price. The bulls Buster, Vigo, and Dunstan are great looking bulls that are people friendly and easily managed.
The girls are also mild mannered and people friendly. Super woolly Hortencia has great fiber, but Moxie Roxie’s is even better. Moxie Roxie was the Grand Champion Fiber Yak at National Western Stock Show 2020. Hortencia won a blue ribbon in the halter show at National Western Stock Show 2020.
